LINDEN HILL — A 17-year-old male was driving a 2003 Hyundai on Linden Place near the Whitestone Expressway service road June 30 when he struck a pole, police said.

The driver was taken to New York Hospital of Queens in critical condition, and the passenger, a 15-year-old male, was taken to the same hospital in stable condition. No arrests were made and the investigation was ongoing.
