Friday, Jan. 28 – The Queens Federation of Churches is celebrating 74 years of Ecumenical Ministry in Queens and honoring recipients of the 2005 awards for Outstanding leadership and meritorious ministry at Terrace on the Park.
Thursday, March 3 – New York Families for Autistic Children is holding its Annual Dinner Dance and Awards Celebration at Russo's on the Bay, Cross Bay Boulevard and 163rd Avenue, Howard Beach, from 6:30 p.m. Honorees are state Sen. Serphin Maltese, Jerrold Parker and Herbert Waichman of Parker and Waichman LLP, Nick Mascia and Semantics Organization. Rafles and silent auction, cocktail party at 6:30 p.m. Dinner to follow.
