H.S. for Visual Arts graffiti arrest
By Jon Minners
In an ironic twist, the High School for Visual Arts became the victim of the wrong kind of visual art when a Co-op City resident branded the Antin Place school with gang-related graffiti last week.
Ancid Farrell, 20, of 140 Carver Loop, was spotted on Tuesday, January 10, at 3:45 p.m., at 50 Antin Place, by 49th Precinct School Sergeant Jason Manzari and Officer Stephen Kelly, with graffiti instruments after a witness notified the officer that the suspect had written on a wall with a marker, according to police.
