To The Editor:
No one likes to be ticketed, for double parking, or for any reason.
That's no excuse for you to tolerate columnist Carmine Santa Maria's use of profanity and otherwise vulgar and disrespectful language in excoriating traffic enforcement agents who do their duty, however, unpopular.
In fact, the Brooklyn Graphic might be well advised to report on the abuse traffic enforcement agents are subjected to for just doing their job.
As a reader, who has come to expect good community service reporting by the Brooklyn Graphic, it was disappointing to see this lapse into strident name-calling. It was unworthy of your newspapers, of your readers, and of the hard-working civil servants who were so viciously maligned.
