Just how the heck did this happen? That must have been what an area motorist, as well as firefighters and EMTs called to a Sheepshead Bay corner were thinking last week as a sedan somehow found itself on its side, wedged between a parked car and a truck. Things appeared a bit off-kilter following the January 27 accident, which took place at the corner of Avenue Z and East 14th Street. As rescuers arrived, the woman driver was still behind the wheel, apparently unfazed. Witnesses said that the car lurched onto its passenger side as the motorist tried to avoid a collision. No serious injuries were reported. As of this writing, it was unclear if the motorist received a summons.
