Division is Wagner’s to win
BY ZACHARY BRAZILLER
Last Thursday, Robert Wagner took another step towards clinching the Queens B division, routing Queens Vocational Tech, 84-66, behind senior guard Carl Wardlaw’s 33 points. Junior Jamel Edwards added 25 points and 16 rebounds.
The defending Queens B champion Panthers lead Aviation by one game in the loss column but the two teams will not meet again this season. If Wagner (16-2 Queens B) can beat Renaissance and the always tough American Studies this week, the division is theirs.
