Local Precincts Hold National Night Out Against Crime

This year, each precinct will hold its National Night Out Against Crime on August 1.
The event is designed to heighten awareness of crime and provide health care information and safety education. There will be food and fun activities for the entire family. Below is a listing, by precinct, of the locations:

102nd: Forest Park at 7 p.m.
103rd: Rufus King Park from 6 to 9:30 p.m.
104th: At precinct (64-02 Catalpa Avenue) from 5 to 8 p.m.
105th: At precinct (92-08 222 Street) from 6 to 10 p.m.
106th: Demutis Park at 5 p.m.
107th: Opposite 158-11 Jewel Avenue (intersecting corner of Parsons Boulevard and Jewel Avenue) from 7 to 10 p.m.
108th: John Andrew Playground (49th Avenue between Vernon Boulevard and 5th Street) from 5 to 9 p.m.
109th: P.S. 20 Playground located on Union Street and Barclay Avenue from 5 to 9 p.m.
110th: Hoffman Park (behind St. John's Hospital) from 6 to 9 p.m.
111th: 61-00 Douglaston Parkway. (Douglaston Mall) in front of Modell's from 6 to 9 p.m.
112th: Macdonald Park (Queens and Yellowstone Boulevards) from 6 to 9 p.m. Rain location is the Forest Hills Jewish Center.
113th: Roy Wilkins Park on Merrick Boulevard from 6 to 9 p.m.
114th: Astoria Park - Shore Boulevard between Ditmars and Astoria Park South from 5 to 8 p.m.
115th: Northern Park, 93rd Street and Northern Boulevard from 6 to 9 p.m.
