Fatal Accident
A 69-year-old man was struck and killed as he was crossing the street on January 30.
The unidentified man had been crossing southbound on 140th Avenue near 156th Street when a dark-colored Jeep hit him and fled. The man was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
An investigation is ongoing.
