BRONX OFFICIAL CALLS FOR PROBE INTO DELAYED, OVER-BUDGET COURTHOUSE

A Bronx councilman is calling for an investigation into the still-incomplete criminal courthouse on E. 161st Street, saying the project is $75 million over budget and two years late. But officials involved in the project said they explained years ago what held up the project and insist the building will open in April.
