Bank Robberies

In unrelated incidents, two banks were robbed, and police are now searching for the suspects.
The Northfork Bank at 29-40 Union Street was robbed by a man with a gun who made the customers inside lie on the floor. He is described as being in his 50s, 5’9,” 145 pounds, wearing a blue and white fishing hat, black sunglasses, a dark shirt and pants.
On June 9, the Chase Bank at 163-20 Northern Boulevard was held up by a man between 25 and 35 years of age, 5’8,” wearing a beige baseball cap, black shirt with white “Nike” logo, blue shorts and white sneakers. He fled eastbound on Northern Boulevard in a grey SUV.
