Assault In School

A victim and a suspect allegedly got into a verbal altercation while in school at 56th Avenue and 188th Street. The perp, who was later arrested, then allegedly stabbed the victim in the chest with a pencil, causing injury when the point broke off.

Robbery Averted
A woman heard a noise on her balcony at 241st Street and Oak Park Drive. When she looked out, she saw a man dressed in all black with a ski mask attempting to enter. The suspect then fled by jumping off the third floor balcony.
