Bayside Kiwanis gift a week at Kamp

Melissa Cibelli (second from right), Senior Medicaid Service Coordinator for the Working Organization for Retarded Children and Adults (Life’s WORC) in Garden City has been assisting Rando obtain services since his mother passed away over a year ago, “He’s ready to go and very excited,” she said.
The club has been doing good works since its inception in 1940, according Skliros, a past president and broker at Benjamin Realty on Bell Boulevard. “It’s harder now that we’re down to only 30 members, so we’re always looking for new blood.”
Edward M. Law (right) manager of the Sovereign Bank branch on Bell Boulevard handles the Kiwanis account. “Laura used to manage here, but she got transferred to the Bronx,” he said, adding “Now they’re all after me to join.”
