Relief of nagging pains

For most, it’s hard to find that one good doctor who has a special relationship with every patient and gives 110 percent effort in helping whatever the problem may be.
If you need an ear, nose or throat doctor, Dr. Stephen Finger, fits in that category. For over 20 years, he’s been a board certified otolaryngologist.
“I get satisfaction helping people,” he said. “It’s immediate gratification seeing my patients happy. We have quality New York medicine at affordable fees.”
He focuses on torn earlobes, keloid removals, mole removals, skin growths and general ear, nose and throat problems. He also helps with head and neck problems, facial plastic surgery and damaged pierced lobes.
“All in our modern comfortable offices,” he says on his website, www.drfinger.com. “From hearing problems to nasal and sinus ailments, we employ the latest technology to bring relief to our patients.”
Most of Dr. Finger’s patients need help with torn earlobes and keloid removal. He said a keloid is an overgrowth of tissue from a healed skin spot. Earlobe keloids can occur from a botched piercing.
Dr. Finger has the ability to treat fine lines, aging spots and sun damage.
He uses nasal cryosurgery to freeze away excess tissues on the inside of the nose. This allows for free breathing, normal sinus drainage and improvements in snoring. Dr. Finger said no one in Brooklyn does cryosurgery, so his office is the go-to place for that service.
“I don’t think many places around do cryosurgery,” he said.
Dr. Finger, who knew he wanted to be an ear, nose and throat doctor during the residency stage of his career, ran as the republican candidate for the 11th Congressional District in Brooklyn this year, but lost. He said he applied the same passion to running for office as he does with his patients on a daily basis.
His offices are located at 2256 Hendrickson St. in Brooklyn. They’re open from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Mondays, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesdays, 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursdays and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays. For more information about Dr. Finger’s practice and services, call his office at 718-692-1515.
