Time Warner unveils International phone plan

Here’s a bit of news which should be welcome in the most diverse county on the planet:
Time Warner Cable (TWC) has introduced a new, flat-rate international calling plan in New York City and Austin, Texas, before offering the plan nationwide.
“International OnePrice” is a residential phone plan which will allow unlimited calling to about 100 countries for a flat fee of $19.95 per month, when purchased as part of a bundle with video or high-speed data. Calls to areas which are not included in the plan will be billed on a per-minute basis.
“The overwhelming majority of people who regularly make international calls will find this service to offer tremendous savings,” said Mike Joblon, vice president of digital phone product management for TWC, who said the plan was, “specifically designed to accommodate and exceed the needs of most single-family households.”
According to TWC, “International OnePrice” is the first broad-based international calling plan introduced to U.S. customers.
