Sky View Parc sales are strong

While progress at Muss Development LLC’s Sky View Parc mixed-use project in Flushing is evident from the steel for the first residential tower reaching for the sky, what’s less evident is the extraordinary pace at which unit sales continue. Since sales began in late February, more than 120 apartments have been sold with no slowing of the pace in sight.
The steel frame has risen about 180 feet - to the 11th floor of the 12-story luxury residential condominium tower - which is expected to top out in November. The three residential towers in Phase 1 of the project will contain 448 units and sit atop of a three-story, 74-foot retail structure. The retail and parking structures have already topped out. Three additional buildings and 652 more apartments will be added in Phase 2 for a total of 1,100 units.
“As the steel beams of the residential towers continue to rise over Flushing, the level of excitement for both Muss and Sky View Parc buyers rise with them,” said Jason A. Muss, a principal at Muss Development. “This spectacular project continues on schedule and on budget, while condominium sales remain extremely strong. One thing we have learned in Muss Development’s more than a century of building in New York is that buyers will always be drawn to quality, especially when it is priced right, and regardless of economic and market conditions.”
Muss Development opened the first residential tower for sales in late February of this year. Sales were so brisk that the project’s second residential tower was opened for sales several months earlier than originally anticipated. Prices range from the high $300,000s to more than $2 million.
Sky View Parc features elevated living in six residential towers and a rooftop park set atop the three-story, 800,000-square-foot retail shopping experience. The nearly four-acre elevated park and 448 condominium units in the three Phase 1 buildings will ultimately feature an outdoor pool, two full-sized tennis courts, a health club & spa, a basketball court, running track, two children’s play areas, golf, valet parking, 24-hour doorman and remarkable panoramic views of Manhattan, Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, major bridges and the Long Island Sound. Owners of Sky View Parc condominiums will also be eligible for a 15-year tax abatement
Sky View Parc’s location is another major attraction for buyers as well as shoppers. It is located in the heart of downtown Flushing, two blocks from Main Street and the No. 7 train, which is a 22-minute express ride to Grand Central Station. Penn Station is a 17-minute ride via the Long Island Rail Road, also just two blocks from the site. Located between LaGuardia and JFK airports, Sky View Parc is within walking distance of sports and recreation venues, including the Mets’ brand new Citi Field, the USTA National Tennis Center and Flushing Meadows-Corona Park.
By car, Sky View Parc and Sky View Center are located right off the Van Wyck Expressway and just minutes away from the Long Island, Clearview and Whitestone Expressways and the Grand Central Parkway.
