ST. ALBANS — A 29−year−old man was arraigned last week for allegedly stalking a woman who had placed an order of protection against him, the Queens district attorney said.
Dhaneshwar Misir, of 192−08 95th Ave., was charged in Queens Criminal Court with criminal contempt, stalking and harassment for allegedly violating the March 16 order, according to the criminal complaint.
On April 3, around 10:50 p.m., he drove to the 24−year−old woman’s home in a green Honda Accord, slowed down in front of the residence and drove away, the DA said. Around 11:30 p.m. that night, the victim looked out her window and saw Misir allegedly sitting in the parked sedan staring into her bedroom window, according to the complaint.
The next day, around 7:40 p.m. the woman was parking her car across the street from her home when she saw Misir slowing down in front of the residence in a white Dodge Charger and drive away, the complaint said.
On April 5, the victim allegedly observed Misir driving past her home in the Charger around 9:40 p.m., the DA said.
