A 48-year-old Woodhaven man was killed early Sunday morning after being struck by two cars on the Grand Central Parkway, police said.
Andrzej Suchorzepka was hit by two vehicles around 1 a.m. Sunday on the eastbound Grand Central Parkway at Northern Boulevard, police said. Suchorzepka was lying unconscious and unresponsive in the left lane of the parkway and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Police are still searching for the drivers of the two vehicles who fled the scene after striking Suchorzepka.
NY1 reported that the victim had left Flushing Hospital shortly before being struck on the highway.
