Man arrested for alleged assault of woman

On September 22, police responded to 13-34 Caffrey Avenue on a call of an unconscious female.
Upon their arrival, cops discovered a 37-year-old woman who had been struck in the head with a blunt object. The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition. A 34-year-old man was taken into custody at the scene.
