A ribbon-cutting event was held Wednesday, September 16 in honor of the grand opening of BounceU, a private party space in College Point. The event highlighted the 14th Avenue facility’s interactive inflatable equipment and forthcoming children’s enrichment programs. BounceU owner Shameka Barbosa; State Senator Frank Padavan; BounceU owner Michael Barbosa; and Joseph G. Ciampa of the Ciampa Organization celebrated the arrival of the new destination, part of a national franchise that specializes in creating private parties for everyone from kids to moms to sports teams. In a statement, Michael Barbosa called the new facility “the perfect party place for kids.”
