2 men snatched purse from woman in Flushing

FLUSHING — Police said they were searching for two men who attempted to steal a woman’s purse on 193rd Street in Flushing Sept. 27.

The men, who police say were Hispanic, approached the woman from behind and cut her purse off her arm, police said. The two men fled and several witnesses chased them, causing them to drop the purse, police said.
