Older man killed while working under his car

WOODSIDE — A senior citizen was killed Tuesday afternoon in an accident while he was working underneath his car, police said.

Officers responded to a 911 call to a home near 69th Street and 44th Avenue around 3 p.m. where they found an unidentified 69-year-old man pinned under the vehicle he was working on, police said. The man was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital but pronounced dead when he got there, according to police.

There was no criminality suspected.
