Perps tried to dupe victim

A woman was in the parking lot of a Dunkin Donuts at 35th Avenue and Francis Lewis Boulevard on Saturday, November 7 when she claims she was approached by two men who offered to repair some old damage on her vehicle.
When she refused, they told her she owed them $100, and then they proceeded to attempt to steal her purse from inside the vehicle.
Cops say the perps fled without any property.
