GLEN OAKS — A Glen Oaks man was busted by police after allegedly bashing his sister on the head with his cane during an argument, the Queens district attorney said.
Around 12:15 p.m. Jan. 27, Michael Puleo, 41, got into a dispute with his adult sister in his home on 261st Street, the DA said. As the fight escalated, he punched the woman several times in the face and hit her in the head with his cane, leaving her with bruises and a cut, the DA said.
Puleo was charged with assault and arraigned Jan. 27. He was released on his own recognizance and ordered to appear in court March 3.
