Thousands of people filled the streets of Flushing for the annual Lunar New Year parade, which celebrated the start of the Year of the Tiger. Children and adults alike dressed in furry feline costumes to mark the occasion. Meanwhile, participants riding on festive floats sprinkled confetti on parade-goers lined up along Main Street. The parade concluded with fireworks outside of Queens Crossing. But the party was just starting, with performances at Queens Crossing lasting into the late afternoon.
