According to District Attorney Richard A. Brown, a father admitted to “driving and rear ending the second car”?on April 6.
The incident occurred at Lefferts Boulevard and 111th Avenue when Anthony A. Clarke, with his 10-year-old son and eight-year-old daughter in the back seat, allegedly rammed the other car.
Police say he had slurred speech, an odor of alcohol on his breath and was unsteady on his feet. Clarke allegedly refused a Breathalyzer at the 112th Precinct.
He is charged with reckless endangerment, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and endangering the welfare of a child.
