Citi, the Queens Economic Development Corporation (QEDC) and the Queens Library kicked off the 5th annual Queens StartUP! Business Plan Competition on Friday, September 3.
The StartUP! Business Plan Competition will provide five aspiring entrepreneurs with seed funding totaling $24,000 and business resources from community partners. Entrepreneurs are given financial assistance, counseling and other resources.
Mandatory orientation sessions are September 13, 15, 18, 20, 29 and October 2. First prize winner will receive $12,000.
The StartUP! Business Plan Competition is made possible by a grant from the Citi Foundation.
