FOREST HILLS — A Jamaica man was arrested after he allegedly assaulted a woman after she caught him stealing $300 from a Forest Hills home where she is a custodian Dec. 4, Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said.
Filadelfo Quintanilla, 43, allegedly broke into the residence on 66th Avenue in Forest Hills and swiped the $300 from the victim’s purse, according to the DA. When the woman ran into Quintanilla inside the bedroom, he allegedly pushed her into a bed, Brown said.
The victim said she is the legal custodian of the Forest Hills home.
The Jamaica resident has been charged with two counts of burglary, assault, criminal trespassing, criminal possession of stolen property and harassment, according to the DA.
