Queens Center and the New York Blood Center hosted a Bravest vs. Finest Blood Drive on Saturday, April 30. The event, a friendly competition between NYPD and FDNY to see which department could donate the most blood to help save lives, resulted in 174 pints of blood donated, exceeding the goal of 150 pints. FDNY won, with the most donors applying their contribution toward the Bravest.
Each donor received tickets to a Mets game and other great offers from Queens Center retailers including Applebee’s, Markens Jewelers and Gloria Jean’s.
