SOUTH JAMAICA — A June 30 argument ended with one man repeatedly stabbed and an NYPD officer injured at 143-14 Lakewood Ave.
Andre Jones, 25, and Desmond Jones, 45, both of 143-14 Lakewood Ave., got into an argument outside their house with the victim at around 11:30 p.m., according to a criminal complaint from the Queens district attorney.
The argument ended with the pair stabbing the victim three times in the right side of the torso, once in the left side and once in the abdomen and cut him in the torso and neck, according to the complaint.
After an NYPD officer arrived and tried to cuff one of the suspects, Davaughn Jones, 17, also of 143-14 Lakewood Ave., threw a punch at the cop, the document said.
The officer deflected the flying fist, the document said, but in the process injured his thumb.
But that did not stop the cop from arresting Davaughn Jones, who attempted to evade the cuffs by flailing his arms and legs, the DA said.
Andre and Desmond Jones were both charged with assault and possession of a weapon, the DA said. Davaughn was charged with assault and resisting arrest, the DA said.
