Firefighters rushed to a Woodside home to put out a fire that broke out inside a container of items on Sunday morning, Feb. 5. Reportedly, the blaze broke out at around 8:30 a.m. near a home on 65th Place at 50th Avenue. Responding to the scene (in the order of their arrival) were members of Engine companies 292 and 325, Squad Co. 288, Ladder companies 163 and 136, Rescue 4, Battalion 46 and the 108th Precinct. No injuries were reported, and flames did not spread to any nearby homes.
