Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio, leader of the Diocese of Brooklyn and Queens, came to Christ the King Regional High School in Middle Village last Wednesday, Mar. 21, to celebrate the sacrament of confirmation with 20 members of the high school’s Sacrament Class. As noted, confirmation seals a candidate’s entry into the church made at their baptism. Among those confirmed wwas Tyree Allison, a math teacher who was recently named Christ the King’s new head football coach. The class was led by Campus Minister Sr. Elizabeth C. Graham and Rev. Frank Spacek (not pictured).
