102nd Precinct Cop of the Month

P.O. Pablo DeJesus (right) was honored as the 102th Precinct’s Cop of the Month at its Tuesday, May 15 meeting at Moose Hall in Richmond Hill. According to Capt. Martin Briffa (left), the precinct’s executive officer, DeJesus earned his award-and his plaque, sponsored by the Times Newsweekly-for breaking up a robbery in progress along Jamaica Avenue and arresting the perpetrator, who had an extensive criminal record. Also in the photo is Precinct Council President Maria Thomson.
