Firefighters rushed to put out a one-alarm fire that ripped through a Richmond Hill home on Sunday afternoon, Apr. 29, FDNY sources said. Reportedly, the blaze ignited at around 3 p.m. at the residence located on 108th Street near Atlantic Avenue. Among the units which responded to the scene (in the order of their arrival) were members of Engine companies 294, 285 and 308; Squad companies 270 and 288; Ladder companies 143, 142 and 126; Rescue 4 and Battalions 51 and 50-under the direction of Division 13-along with the 102nd Precinct and EMS units. There were no reported injuries. One hose line was used by firefighters to bring the fire under control, it was reported.
