Teenager Killed, Man Injured In Bushwick Double Shooting

Police are looking for the unidentified gunman who opened fire on two men at a Bushwick intersection last Saturday night, June 2, leaving a 17-year-old male dead and a 20-year-old man seriously injured, it was reported.

Members of the 83rd Precinct were called to the intersection of Aberdeen Street and Bushwick Avenue at around 10:45 p.m. last Saturday after receiving a 911 call regarding a man shot at the location.

Upon their arrival, law enforcement sources said, the officers found 17-year-old Kelvis Cueto, address undisclosed, face down with gunshot wounds to his neck and arm.

Paramedics who responded to the scene transported Cueto to Brookdale University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

A second male victim, age 20, was also transported to Brookdale Hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to his shoulder and torso.; he was listed in critical condition, but police indicated that he is expected to recover.

Despite a canvass of the surrounding area, no immediate arrests were made, authorities noted. The case was presented to the 83rd Precinct Detective Squad for further investigation.
