Man Sought For Restaurant Burglary

Law enforcement sources are asking the public’s help in tracking down the hungry bandit who recently burglarized a sushi restaurant in Woodside and stolen an unknown quantity of food items.

The suspect wanted for the recent break-in of a sushi restaurant in Woodside.

The perpetrator is described by police as an African-American male between 30 and 40 years old with a thin build. He is shown in an security camera image released last Friday, July 13, wearing sunglasses, a baseball cap with the New York Knicks logo and a polo shirt.

Reportedly, the bandit entered the rear of the Sushi X restaurant located at 47-15 Northern Blvd. at around 10:40 p.m. on July 6 and swiped food from the kitchen, then fled from the scene.

The incident was later reported to the 114th Precinct. There were no injuries.
