Six firefighters suffered minor injuries battling a July 4 blaze on Hale Avenue and Etna Street in Cypress Hills. The two-alarm fire began at about 9 p.m., and required five hose lines to extinguish. Engine companies 236, 332, 293, 233, 286, 225, 290 and 231 (listed in order of arrival) responded to the scene, along with Ladder companies 175, 176, 135, 107, 103, 120 and 112 and other FDNY units.
