Flames spread throughout a Bushwick warehouse during a one-alarm fire last Saturday afternoon, Aug. 4, Fire Department sources said. Reportedly, the blaze ignited at around 5 p.m. at the two-story building on Bushwick Avenue near Cook Street. Responding to the scene (in the order of their arrival) were members of Engine companies 237, 218, 230, 217 and 216; Ladder companies 108, 124, 102, 146 and 115; Squad Co. 252; Rescue 2 and Battalions 35 and 28-under the direction of Division 11-along with the 90th Precinct and EMS units. No injuries were reported. Two hose lines were used by firefighters to bring the blaze under control, said an FDNY source.
