NYPD identifies murdered woman found in Queens attic

The NYPD has identified the murdered woman who was found in a Richmond Hill attic August 4 as Samantha Bermudez, 19, of Washington Heights.

The residence where the body was discovered belonged to a man who had committed suicide a few weeks earlier.
