Infant Found Near Woodside Houses Building
Police have identified a woman wanted for questioning in the case of an abandoned infant found near a Woodside housing project on Sunday, Aug. 19.
According to the NYPD, the baby girl was found wrapped in a sheet at about 11:27 p.m. in a grassy area in the rear of a building on 50-07 Broadway.
Emergency services personnel at the scene transported the child to Elmhurst Hospital Center in stable condition.
The woman being sought was identified as Cathy Lu; no other information was given.
