Weekend J Trains Closed This Weekend
J train service is scheduled to be suspended between Crescent Street and Jamaica Center this weekend from 4 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, until 10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16. This service change will also be in effect the following two weekends, Sept. 22-23 and Sept. 29-30.
During these periods, J trains will continue to operate between Crescent Street and Chambers Street in Manhattan.
Shuttle buses will provide alternate service to the J train between Crescent Street and 121st Street and will connect to the Jamaica-Van Wyck station for E train service to Jamaica Center.
The shuttle buses will stop at J train stations as follows:
– Crescent Street-on Fulton Street at Crescent Street;
– Cypress Hills-at the B13 bus stop on Jamaica Avenue at Hemlock Street (to Jamaica-Van Wyck) or on Crescent Street at Jamaica Avenue (to Crescent Street station);
– 75th Street-Elderts Lane-at Q56 bus stops on Jamaica Avenue at 75th Street (to Jamaica-Van Wyck) or Dexter Court (to Crescent Street);
– 85th Street-Forest Parkway-at Q56 bus stops on Jamaica Avenue at 85th Street (to Jamaica-Van Wyck) or at 86th Street (to Crescent Street);
– Woodhaven Boulevard-at Q56 bus stops on Jamaica Avenue at Woodhaven Boulevard;
– 104th Street-at Q56 bus stops on Jamaica Avenue at 104th Street;
– 111th Street-at Q56 bus stops on Jamaica Avenue at 111th Street;
– 121st Street-at Q56 bus stops on Jamaica Avenue at 121st Street; and
– Jamaica-Van Wyck-on the Van Wyck Expressway service road at 89th Avenue.

Late Night L Trains Disrupted In Bklyn.
L train service will be suspended between Broadway Junction and Lorimer Street on Friday, Sept. 14, from 12:01 until 5 a.m.
During this time period, L trains will operate in two sections: between Broadway Junction and Rockaway Parkway and between Lorimer Street and Eighth Avenue.
Free shuttle buses will provide alternate L train service at all stops between and including Broadway Junction and Lorimer Street. Riders can transfer between the shuttle buses and the A, J or L trains at Broadway Junction or the G or L trains at Lorimer Street.
The shuttle buses will stop at the L train stations as follows:
– Broadway Junction-on Fulton Street at Van Sinderen Avenue;
– Bushwick Avenue-Aberdeen Street-on Bushwick Avenue at Aberdeen Street (to Lorimer Street) or at DeSales Place (to Broadway Junction);
– Wilson Avenue-on Decatur Street at Wilson Avenue (to Lorimer Street) or on Cooper Street at Wilson Avenue (to Broadway Junction);
– Halsey Street-on Wyckoff Avenue at Weirfield Street;
– Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues-on Wyckoff Avenue at Myrtle Avenue;
– DeKalb Avenue-on Wyckoff Avenue at DeKalb Avenue;
– Jefferson Street-on Wyckoff Avenue at Starr Street;
– Morgan Avenue-on Harrison Place at Morgan Avenue (to Lorimer Street) or on Morgan Avenue at Harrison Place (to Broadway Junction);
– Montrose Avenue-on Bushwick Avenue at Montrose Avenue;
– Grand Street-on Bushwick Avenue at Grand Street;
– Graham Avenue-on Metropolitan Avenue at Graham Avenue; and

Subway Changes
The MTA has scheduled a number of service changes for several subway lines throughout the city due to construction work.
These service advisories are current as of Wednesday, Sept. 12. Last minute changes to service and operating schedules may be made due to weather-related conditions or emergency repairs. Check www.mta.info for schedule changes.

More Disruptions On
The 7 Line In Queens
Manhattan-bound 7 trains will skip the 111th Street, 103rd Street, 90th Street and 82nd Street stations on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 15-16, from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m.
For service to these stations, take the 7 train to Junction Boulevard or 74th Street, then transfer to a Flushing bound 7 train. For service from these stations, take the 7 train to Junction Boulevard or Mets-Willets Point, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound 7 train.
Additionally, there will be no 7 train service between Queensboro Plaza and Times Square-42nd Street on Tuesday, Sept. 18, from 12:01 until 5 a.m. During this period, 7 trains will operate between Queensboro Plaza and Flushing-Main Street.
To travel between Queens and Manhattan, transfer from the 7 train to the N train at either Queensboro Plaza or Times Square-42nd Street or the E train at 74th Street-Roosevelt Avenue.
Meantime, shuttle buses will provide alternate service to the 7 train between Queensboro Plaza and Vernon Boulevard-Jackson Avenue. These buses will also stop at Queens Plaza for connections to the E train.
The shuttle buses will stop at the 7 train stations as follows:
– Queensboro Plaza-on Queens Plaza South at 27th Street;
– Queens Plaza-on Jackson Avenue at Queens Plaza South;
– Court Square-23rd Street-on 44th Drive at 23rd Street (to Vernon Boulevard-Jackson Avenue) or on 23rd Street at 44th Drive (to Queensboro Plaza);
– Hunters Point Avenue-on 21st Street at 49th Avenue; and
– Vernon Boulevard-Jackson Avenue- on Vernon Boulevard at 50th Avenue.
Late Night Shutdown On Part Of G Line
G train service will be suspended between Court Square-23rd Street and Nassau Avenue late nights on Monday, Sept. 17, through Friday, Sept. 21, from 11:30 p.m. until 5 a.m.
Shuttle buses will provide alternate service to stations affected by this service change. G trains will operate normally between Nassau Avenue and Church Avenue.
The shuttle buses will stop at the G train stations as follows:
– Court Square-23rd Street-at B62 bus stops on Jackson Avenue at 45th Avenue or 23rd Street;
– 21st Street-on Jackson Avenue at 47th Avenue (to Nassau Avenue) or the B62 bus stop on Jackson Avenue at 21st Street (to Court Square);
– Greenpoint Avenue-at the B24 bus stop on Manhattan Avenue at Greenpoint Avenue (to Nassau Avenue) or the B43 bus stop on Greenpoint Avenue at Leonard Street (to Court Square); and
– Nassau Avenue-at the B43 bus stop on Bedford Avenue at Manhattan Avenue.
Overnight Express On E Line In Queens
Manhattan-bound E trains will run express service between 71st-Continental
Avenues and Roosevelt Avenue late night on Tuesday, Sept. 18, through Friday, Sept. 21, from 12:01 until 5 a.m.
For service to the 67th Avenue, 63rd Drive, Woodhaven Boulevard, Grand Avenue and Elmhurst Avenue stations, take the E train to Roosevelt Avenue, then transfer to a Jamaica Center-bound E train. For service from these stations, take the E train to 71st-Continental Avenues, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound E train.
Weekend Line Switch For F Line To Jamaica
Jamaica-bound F trains will run on the M line between 47th-50th Streets and Roosevelt Avenue this weekend, from 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, until 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 17. These trains will run express service between Queens Plaza and Roosevelt Avenue.
As a result of this change, Jamaica bound F trains will not stop at Roosevelt Island or 21st Street- Queensbridge. For service to these stations, take the F train to Roosevelt Avenue, then transfer to a Manhattanbound F train. For service from these stations, take the F train to 47th-50th Streets, then transfer to a Jamaicabound F train.
Stations Skipped On E, F Late Nights
Jamaica Center-bound E trains and Jamaica-bound F trains will skip the 75th Avenue and Van Wyck Boulevard stations late night on Friday, Sept. 7, from 12:01 until 5 a.m. During this period, Jamaica-bound F trains will also skip the Sutphin Boulevard stop.
For service to these stations, take the E train to Union Turnpike or Jamaica Van Wyck or the F train to Union Turnpike or Parsons Boulevard, then transfer to a Manhattanbound E or F train. For service from these stations, take the E or F train to Union Turnpike or 71st-Continental Avenues, then transfer to a Jamaica Center-bound E train or a Jamaicabound F train.
N Trains Skip Stops
In Astoria Weekdays
Manhattan-bound N trains will skip the 30th Avenue, Broadway, 36th Avenue and 39th Avenue stations on Monday, Sept. 17, through Thursday, Sept. 20, from 10:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. During this period, there will be no Q train service between 57th Street-Seventh Avenue and Ditmars Boulevard.
For service to the skipped stations, take the N train to Queensboro Plaza, then transfer to an Astoria-bound N train. For service from these stations, take the N train to Astoria Boulevard, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound N
Knick. Ave M Stop Closed For Repairs
The Knickerbocker Avenue station on the M line is closed at all times until early 2013 as the MTA conducts repairs.
Riders are advised to use the nearby Central Avenue and Myrtle- Wyckoff Avenues stations as alternates. The B54 bus provides connecting service between Knickerbocker Avenue and the two stations.
During overnight hours, shuttle buses will provide additional service along the B54 route between Myrtle- Wyckoff Avenues and Myrtle Avenue- Broadway, stopping at the Knickerbocker Avenue and Central Avenue stations.
