‘wonderful’ Welcome to Woodhaven Fair

The Greater Woodhaven Development Corporation (GWDC) was joined by local elected officials in greeting guests to the organization’s “Wonderful Woodhaven Street Festival” on Sunday, Oct. 14, along Jamaica Avenue between 80th Street and Woodhaven Boulevard. Shown in the photo above (from left to right) are State Sen. Joseph Addabbo, Assemblyman Mike Miller, City Council Member Elizabeth Crowley, GWDC Executive Director Maria Thomson, Woodhaven Business Improvement District (BID) President Matthew Xenakis, Loreta Xenakis, GWDC President Steven Esposito, Barbara Baruch of City Comptroller John Liu’s office and City Council Member Eric Ulrich.
