CONNIE (CONCETTA) COFSKY
of West Hempstead died on Sunday, January 13, at the age of 81. A
native of Brooklyn, she was the
widow of the late Edmund, devoted mother of Deborah Cusick
and the late Richard Michael Cofsky, fond mother-in-law of Richard
Cusick, loving grandmother of
Daniella DeFalco and Philip De-
Falco, grandmother-in-law of
Frank Carbone and Vanessa De-
Falco, dear great-grandmother of
Dante, Francesco and Jon Carlo
Carbone and Samantha DeFalco,
dear sister of the late Anthony Antoniello and sister-in-law of Jennie
Antoniello and sister-in-law of
Irene and Jack Sutera of LaMesa,
California. She retired from the
Ridgewood Times in 1997 as manager of the subscription department. A Mass of Christian Burial
was offered at St. Thomas the
Apostle Church, West Hempstead.
Funeral arrangements were under
the direction of the Park Funeral
Home, Garden City, followed by
interment in Cypress Hills Cemetery.

PEGGY ORTNER of Ridgewood
died on Sunday, January 13, at the
age of 58. A native of Ridgewood,
she was the daughter of the late Peter
and Marge and dear sister of Jim,
Barbara and Vito Punzi and the late
Robert. A wake will be held on Friday, January 18, from 2 to 5 p.m. and
from 7 to 9 p.m. at Peter J. Geis Funeral Home, 57-34 Catalpa Ave.,
Ridgewood. A Mass of Christian
Burial will be offered on Saturday,
January 19, at 10 a.m. at St. Matthias
Church, Ridgewood, followed by interment at Pinelawn Memorial Park,
Farmingdale, L.I.

PETER C. TRAUTMANN of Glendale died suddenly on Tuesday, January 8, at the age of 75. Anative of the
Bronx, he was the beloved husband
of 45 years to Marieanna, devoted father of Peter Mark Trautmann, fatherin law of Amanda Trautmann,
cherished grandfather of Noah and
Luke Trautmann, dear brother of
Anita Bodak and dear brother-in-law
of Richard Bodak of Texas. He is also
survived by many nieces and
nephews. He was a member of Trinity Reformed Church and the Trinity
Lodge Free and Accepted Masons.
He was also a veteran of the U.S.
Army. Services were offered at Trinity Reformed Church, Ridgewood,
