The MTA Department of Bridges and Tunnels says work on maintenance lifts could cause overnight delays Feb. 1 on the Robert F. Kennedy-Triborough Bridge’s Harlem River lift span.
The agency said the work on the lift span could cause traffic delays between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. Friday.
The maintenance work will result in intermittent full closures of the bridge in both directions for as much as 15 minutes at a time.
The announcement said drivers should expect delays and use an alternate route.
