BERTHA RADSKE died on
Wednesday, March 20, at the age of
92. A native of Hinterberg,
Gottscheee, she is survived by her
two sons, William and Robert,
daughters-in-law, Gerta and Anita
Radske, grandchildren Nicole and
Russell Miskiewicz, Stephanie
Radske and Diana Culotta and greatgranddaughter Sophia. She was also
the grandmother of the late Peter
Radske. A Mass of Christian Burial
was offered on Saturday, March 23,
at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal
Church, Ridgewood, followed by interment at St. Charles Cemetery,
Farmingdale, under the direction of
Leo F. Kearns Funeral Home, 61-40

AUGUST FESLER died on Friday,
February 22, at the age of 63. Born
and raised in Ridgewood, he was the
beloved husband of Angela and father of Ryan, Vito and Helen. He was
well known for playing drums with
his nephew, Joe Fuoco, for over four
decades. A Memorial Mass will be
offered on Saturday, April 6, at
11 a.m. at St. Matthias Church,
Ridgewood.

ALOIS POGORELZ of Middle Village died on Tuesday, March 19, at
the age of 87. A native of Gottschee,
Yugoslavia, he was the beloved husband of Magdalena, devoted father of
Hildegarde, father-in-law of Andreas,
loving grandfather of Steven and
Kathryn, Christopher and Anthony
and fond great-grandfather of Samantha. A Mass of Christian Burial was
offered at St. Margaret Church, Middle Village, followed by interment at
St. John Cemetery, Middle Village,

March 21, at the age of 70. She was
the beloved sister of Rosa L. Tan,
Annie Tan, Mauro Tan and the late
George Tan and Theodora Ong and
cherished aunt of Alvin, Josephine,
Jerry, Simon, Ernesto, Nicholas,
Debbie, Manny, Nick, Oliver, Patricia, Sabrina, Telly, Augusto and
Agerico. She is also survived by numerous friends and neighbors. A

March 15, at the age of 83. She was

He was the beloved husband of charlotte Cestaro, lovingfather of Leonard
Jr. and Sheree Cestaro, Lori Ann Cestaro, Randy and Judi Cestaro and
Bradley and Dolores Cestaro, cherished grandfather of Leonard III,
Richard, Kellie, Katie, Jennifer, Todd
and Brett and great grandfather of

and Garret. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during World War

CATHERINE MARY KIELY died
on Thursday, March 21, in Florida at
att he age of 90 following a brief respiratory illness. Born in 1922 in
County Waterford, Ireland, to Edward Curran and Bridget Towler, she
was the wife of the late John J. Kiley,
beloved mother of John and Susan
(nee McGann) Kiley and Michael
and Kimberly (nee Schenone) Kiley
and loving grandmother of Sean,
Michael, Joseph, Thomas and
Christopher. She was a devout member of St. Pancras Church in Glendale
for 60 years. She was interred next to
her husband John at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction of Schwille Funeral Home,
66-32 Myrtle Ave., Glendale. In lieu
of charitable contributions, the family requests that the public perform
an act of kindness and generosity in
her memory.
