REGO PARK — Police were looking for help finding a suspect wanted in connection to a burglary in Rego Park, the NYPD said.
According to cops, a white male suspect between 35 and 40 years old used a hammer to shatter the glass storefront to Olga Salon in Rego Park Feb. 7 around 8:13 p.m.
He then went on to remove money from the cash register inside as well as a portable radio from behind the counter area before leaving the store, police said.
Police described the suspect as about 5-foot-8 and between 160 and 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored jacket, the NYPD said.
