All are invited to participate in a community forum in Maspeth this Saturday, May 11, focusing on designing bicycle infrastructure within the confines of Community Board 5.
As announced by Board 5 District Manager Gary Giordano, the event-a collaboration of the board, the Department of City Planning and the city Department of Transportation-will be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. this Saturday in the cafeteria of Maspeth High School, located at 54-40 74th St., near 57th Avenue.
The session will focus on planning safe routes for bicyclists within the communities of Ridgewood, Glendale, Maspeth and Middle Village, and portions of Woodside, Rego Park and Elmhurst.
