A Flushing woman missing since last week was found dead in the trunk of her car parked in Elmhurst Monday afternoon, police and a published report said.
Joo Young Byun, 42, was last seen Friday leaving her work near the corner of 55th Avenue and 46th Street at about 4:30 a.m., according to the NYPD.
At 3:15 p.m. Monday, a woman the New York Post identified as Byun was found inside trash bags stuck in the trunk of her car, which police said was parked near the corner of 61st Street and 47th Avenue.
Police said the medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
Cops did not have anyone in custody as of Tuesday afternoon, the NYPD said.
