Police have identified the man they believe to be the gunman who fired at least nine rounds into an MTA bus in South Jamaica two weeks ago, killing a 14-year-old girl.
The 113th Precinct sent out a poster Thursday afternoon with the photo and name of Kevin McClinton, and warns he is to be considered armed and dangerous.
Police believe McClinton fired at least nine rounds from a .40-caliber handgun near the corner of Sutphin and Rockaway boulevards the night of May 18 as D’aja Robinson and a friend were riding the Q6 bus home from a Sweet 16 party the two had attended.
The gunman fled into nearby Baisley Pond Park and D’aja died from a single gunshot to the head, police said.
A $22,000 reward is being offered to anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest and conviction of the shooter.
