CORONA – A Metropolitan Transportation Authority worker was arrested and charged with staging a robbery of her token booth, according to police and multiple reports.

South Jamaica resident Tracy King, 48, was arrested early Wednesday morning and charged with conspiracy and defrauding the government, a spokeswoman for the NYPD said.

King called police Saturday to report a man had tied her up and held her at gunpoint before taking $7,000 from the token booth at the 111th Street and Roosevelt Avenue stop on the No. 7 line where she worked, the New York Post reported.

Police tracked down Anthony Brown, 42, in the South Jamaica home of the token booth clerk and arrested him, the Post said, after authorities learned that she was allegedly in on the operation.

Brown was charged with burglary, robbery and kidnapping, the Post said.
