The Queens Courier has exclusively learned that the popular Foodcellar market, located at 4-85 47th Road in Long Island City, has signed a lease to open a second location in one of the retail spaces in the Rockrose development Linc LIC. The 709-unit luxury rental building will open this summer at 43-10 Crescent Street.
The new space will occupy about 24,000 square feet on two levels including a basement.
Foodcellar is dedicated to carrying all-natural and organic products and has made it a priority to have local products on their shelves.
Since opening its first location in August 2008, the store has established a loyal following as being one of the only supermarkets on the Long Island City waterfront.
